Joward Policarpio becomes the first Filipino to win the Nissan GT Academy Asia Race Camp. He is one of the six Filipino representatives who experienced the one-of-a-kind "virtual to reality" race competition, the Nissan GT Academy, at the Silverstone Circuit in the UK.

Policarpio raced against the best of other Asian competitors, taking the lead during the fifth lap to secure his victory. He was followed by Indonesian Andika Rama in second place and Indian Akshay Gupta placing third.

As the overall winner of the GT Academy Asia Race camp, Policarpio will undergo a three-month intensive Driver Development Program that prepares him to drive under Nissan for the Dubai 24-hour endurance race in January 2016.
